Description
The Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig 520 Pro is a practical and versatile jointing system. This system allows you to create very solid pocket holes in materials with a minimum thickness of 13 mm and a maximum thickness of 38 mm.
The Pocket-Hole Jig 520 Pro has a number of unique points. For example, the jig has a 360° rotatable handle. This handle ensures that you can comfortably use the system on any project. In addition, the Pocket-Hole Jig 520 Pro has a built-in clamping system. You simply squeeze the handle until the material is clamped firmly enough. The non-slip material on the 520 Pro ensures that the jointing system will not shift, no matter what position you use the jig in.
You can measure the thickness of the material with the supplied material thickness gauge. The measurements on the gauge correspond to those on the drilling jig and EasySet drill bit. You slide the stop collar to the correct size using the material thickness gauge, which is also a hex wrench. This adjustable stop collar ensures repeat accuracy of the Kreg jointing system. By setting the stop collar once, you can thus make several pocket holes in succession in the same material thickness.
The built-in clamping system provides more repeat accuracy as well. The handle has a quick-reset function, which ensures that the clamp remains at approximately the same thickness. This allows you to work with material of the same thickness several times in a row, without having to squeeze the handle several times.
The Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig 520 Pro comes with no less than 100 pocket hole screws and a step-by-step project plan. The Kreg jointing system also comes with a 51 mm Kreg quick-release clamp, for clamping and assembling your workpiece.
