Description

This chuck is particularly useful for safely clamping bowls, for example. It leaves no marks on your workpiece. The chuck has a unique self-centering (eccentric) mechanism that automatically adjusts to the size of your project and is easy to secure. The rubber gripper buttons provide firm gripping power when tightened. By rotating the phenolic plates, the gripper buttons are moved to the exact position you need. The chuck can grip your project from the outside (compression) or the inside (expansion). Once the gripper buttons are firmly up against your project, you can secure them by tightening the wing nuts.
