Le rabot de menuiserie CPL 270 est fabriqué en aluminium et en acier, et dispose d’un arbre de rabotage tout en acier avec deux couteaux de rabotage.
Le moteur puissant, le front pointu et l'évacuation des copeaux à l'avant assurent que la machine reste parfaitement utilisable avec du bois sec et humide, sans que la tranchée ne soit encombrée par la grande quantité de copeaux. Ceci permet le rabotage de madriers longs en une seule fois.
La profondeur du rabot est facilement réglable par un bouton rotatif de 0 à 3 mm, ce qui garantit que le rabot continue à fonctionner de manière fluide et précise même après une utilisation prolongée.
