Les scies stationnaires sont toujours équipées d'une grande sortie de poussière, par ex. Ø 100 mm, une taille très courante. Ce fin tuyau de vidange en haut va ensuite se brancher sur un réducteur de 100 mm à 40 mm. C'est ce changement de diamètre qui pose problème : en effet, la vitesse de l'air est immédiatement ralentie et la puissance d'aspiration ne peut donc jamais être utilisée de manière optimale.
L'extracteur flottant ORCA S17 peut être utilisé vers tous les types de tables de sciage ou de scies à panneaux et possède une aspiration directe du diamètre 100mm jusqu'au-dessus de la lame de scie. La vitesse de l'air est optimale sans ralentissement du flux d'air. Grâce à une extraction efficace de la poussière, ce capuchon assure un air pur dans votre atelier et aide à éliminer la poussière qui s'accumule sur la pièce à travailler. En outre, le grand couvercle transparent de l'égouttoir permet de voir clairement votre pièce.
Et comme le mot lui-même le dit "extracteur flottant" : vous pouvez scier directement à n'importe quelle hauteur sans être gêné par la protection classique montée sur le coin de fendage. Cela signifie que vous pouvez réaliser des coupes peu profondes (rainures), des coupes à onglet et, en fait, n'importe quel type de coupe que vous feriez normalement. Vous pourriez même utiliser un chariot ou un moule fait maison avec cette hotte.
Peut être utilisé sur presque tous les types de scies à table : Le bras supérieur en acier robuste s'écarte et revient en douceur en position de travail.
