You can measure the thickness of the material with the supplied material thickness gauge. The Kreg 720 jointing system comes with an dust collection attachment that can be attached to the left and right of the drilling jig. You can slide the adapter and then an exhaust hose onto this, which extracts dust and wood chips, allowing you to keep a good view of your work surface. The Kreg jointing system can be used both horizontally and vertically.
